What is there to not enjoy about Dock Bars, they have it all beers, boats and babes. Here’s our list of some of the best dock bars along the Chesapeake Bay:
Sunset Grille and Teasers Dockside Bar
Located in West Ocean City, Sunset Grill and Teasers Dockside Bar is home of the Teasers Cup every year during the White Marlin Open and many other fishing tournaments over the course of the summer. This dock bar and restaurant is one of our favorites for many reasons, with the large fleet of Sportfishing boats from around the world and great atmosphere, it’s the spot to walk the docks and grab a grapefruit crush.
The Jetty
Located on Kent Narrows is between the Chester River and Prospect Bay if you are traveling by boat and just over the Bay Bridge on the Eastern Shore if you are traveling by car. The Jetty is a great place to feel the shore life and crack a cold one.
Red Eye’s Dock Bar
Located on Kent Narrows, once known for their bikini contests is along the the Narrows. Is a great place to dock up during the summer and experience the Eastern Shore.
The Point Crab House & Grill
Located in Arnold right off of the Magothy River, The Point gives locals a great place to grab a drink and local Maryland food.
Happy Harbor
Located in Deale along the Rockhold Creek is a locals hangout. This is where the native Brother’s Osborne (Band) filmed their music video for Rum. This place is truly MD Livin, local charter boats and deadrises can be found docked out back.
Waterman’s Crab House
Located in Rockhall along Rock Hall Harbour, has a huge deck with plenty of places to tie up and get a taste of the Rock Hall with the local Watermen of the Eastern Shore.
Lee’s Landing Dock Bar
Located in Port Deposit, along the Susquehanna River has over 1100 feet of free docking space and is a place to experience the Upper Chesapeake Bay.
Harborside Bar & Grille
Located in West Ocean City along the commercial fishing docks. This is where the famous Orange Crush started, Harborside is a great place to relax inslower West Ocean City and see the commercial fishing boats come in along with the Sportfishing boats.
Pussers Caribbean Grille
Located in Downtown Annapolis. Pussers is located right along Ego Alley and is the only public restaurant and bar along the water in historic Downtown Annapolis. Known for their Level 4 Painkillers, Pussers is a great place to watch the boats come in and out of ego alley and to grab a drink.
Reel Inn Restaurant and Dock Bar
Located in Ocean City and home to the White Marlin Open each August. The Reel Inn is part of the private bay side community Harbor, but is open to the public by boat or by foot. The Reel Inn is a great place to grab a fresh seared Tuna sandwich.
Lowe’s Wharf
Located in Sherwood along Ferry Cove is the place to be on summer weekends, with plenty of mooring if there is not room at the dock and even a water taxi to and from the bar.
Tiki Bar (Solomons Island)
Located on Solomons Island along the Patuxent River is one of our favorites. You don’t have to travel all the way to Florida to feel like you are in Key West, with plenty of dock space the the Tiki Bar is the happening spot any weekend in the summer months.
Sunset Cove
Located in Middle River along Frog Mortar Creek.
